Trust begins with clear standards.
Choosing support is personal. Before confirming a visit, ask about the person assigned, their qualifications and the exact tasks they are authorised to undertake.

Qualifications matched to the task
For caregiver roles, request evidence of relevant elderly-care training, such as an appropriate 420-hour programme. For Practical Nurse roles, request the relevant one-year qualification and verify its recognition. These are selection criteria; this page does not certify an individual provider.
Consent and dignity
Agree on the assistance the person wants, how privacy will be protected and what information may be shared. Reconfirm consent when the situation or task changes.
An agreed scope
Daily support and clinical care have different responsibilities. Clinical tasks require appropriate credentials, authorisation and supervision as applicable. A service title alone does not establish clinical authority.
A clear contact plan
Identify a family contact and the treating healthcare team's instructions for concerns. PANFOLIO is not an emergency response service.
